At HEIKO Metallbau, we continuously invest in state-of-the-art equipment – and this time, the innovation came entirely from within our own team. In our workshop, a completely self-designed and manufactured welding table with a 20 mm hole system has been put into operation.

From the very first sketch to the manufacturing of individual components and the final assembly – every step was carried out by our own experts. The robust 20 mm hole system offers countless clamping and positioning possibilities, making it the perfect foundation for precise and efficient welding work.

New capacities at HEIKO Metallbau: Expansion of our powder coating system

At HEIKO Metallbau, innovation and technical development always take centre stage. In our constant endeavour to improve our production capabilities and better meet the needs of our customers, we have undertaken a significant expansion of our production facilities.

Our in-house powder coating chamber, central to our powder coating process, has recently been extended by 2 metres. This modification now allows us to fully and efficiently coat metal parts up to 6 metres in length. This adaptation opens up new possibilities in the processing of larger and more complex workpieces, which is particularly advantageous for large-format constructions in architecture, plant engineering and many other industries.

Our in-house powder coating chamber, a central component of our powder coating process, was recently expanded. This modification now enables us to fully and efficiently coat even larger metal parts than before.

The expansion of our powder coating chamber is proof of the extensive expertise and flexibility that have characterised HEIKO Metallbau for decades: As an experienced partner in the field of plant and special machine construction, we do not shy away from making our own adjustments to our own machinery.

HEIKO Metallbau is installing three new staircase systems in the production areas of Schlattmeier GmbH & Co. KG in Rödinghausen.

The project involved the planning, manufacture and installation of three customised staircases that provide access to the second level in Schlattmeier’s production areas. These new installations emphasise HEIKO Metallbau’s ability to deliver sophisticated and precise solutions in the field of metal constructions.

Schlattmeier, which has been producing high-quality equipment and furniture for various industries such as bakeries, catering and hotels, shopfitting, medical institutions and office and contract furnishings for almost 125 years, relies on HEIKO Metallbau’s expertise to make its production facilities functional and safe.

HEIKO Metallbau builds new warehouse with sliding door

HEIKO Metallbau has successfully completed another extensive construction project and handed over a modern warehouse to a satisfied customer. The project underlines HEIKO Metallbau’s expertise in the planning, production and construction of industrial buildings from a single source.

The new hall, with an area of 300 square metres (20×15 m), was specially designed according to the customer’s requirements and is equipped with a practical sliding door. It offers optimum space for storage and logistics and fulfils all current standards in terms of safety and functionality.

From the initial planning phase to the turnkey handover, HEIKO Metallbau took over the complete project management. The project began with the careful design of the hall, followed by the manufacture of the required steel components in HEIKO Metallbau’s own factory. The earthworks and foundations were also carried out by the company’s experienced technicians.

HEIKO Metallbau is pleased to announce the successful completion of a challenging project to modernise the entrance area of a renowned clinic in Hessisch Oldendorf. This project once again highlights our commitment and expertise in the realisation of customised metal constructions.

As part of the refurbishment, a complete canopy was constructed and installed over the entrance area of the clinic. This canopy now offers visitors protection from the rain and weather, which is particularly important during the high-maintenance periods of the year. The construction is characterised by high-quality materials, including glass roofs that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, as well as stainless steel and structural steel components that are known for their durability and resilience.

Talented metalworking students create an artistic metal statue for the Weserdorf beer garden in Rinteln, while we at HEIKO Metallbau integrate a fascinating water feature. The sculpture, which depicts a large fish and now stands on the picturesque sandy beach of the Weser, was equipped with a sophisticated combination of pump system, water channel and water supply.

The new water feature is not only a visual eye-catcher, but also an acoustic enrichment for all guests in the beer garden. It invites you to listen to the soothing sound of the rippling water while enjoying a cool drink and savouring the atmosphere on the banks of the Weser.

For HEIKO Metallbau, the project provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen its relationship with local educational institutions. The collaboration with teachers and pupils from the metalworking schools was a central aspect of the project and represents an important building block in the promotion of talent and future skilled workers.

HEIKO Metallbau has successfully completed a complete construction project for Eggers Textilpflege in Bückeburg. The project included the planning, production and construction of a modern warehouse, which was customised to the client’s specific requirements.

HEIKO Metallbau’s latest building is located in Bückeburg and is part of an initiative by Eggers Textilpflege to expand their capacity and improve their operational efficiency. The turnkey handover of the new building marks an important milestone in the long-standing relationship between HEIKO Metallbau and Eggers Textilpflege.

The new warehouse offers Eggers Textilpflege improved storage conditions and helps the company to optimise its logistical processes. It also represents HEIKO Metallbau’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency, as the latest technologies and materials were used, which are not only durable but also minimise energy consumption.

Following the completion of the hall, a large external escape staircase was delivered, lifted into position by a mobile crane, and professionally installed on the building facade.

Construction and installation of new sand hoppers at the Tramira ready-mix concrete plant

We designed and installed two new sand hoppers for the Tramira ready-mix concrete plant to replace the old hopper systems.

The ageing hopper systems, which were themselves load-bearing elements of the infrastructure, were carefully dismantled, taking into account the statics and with the support of temporary supports. This posed a particular challenge, as the structural integrity had to be guaranteed during dismantling.

The new sand hoppers, designed and manufactured by HEIKO Metallbau, consist of rolled and welded individual parts that were prefabricated at the Bückeburg plant. The hoppers were assembled on site with the help of several mobile cranes.
