HEIKO Metallbau has successfully modernised more than 20 bus stops throughout the entire route network of the town of Porta Westfalica. We not only took on the planning and design, but also the production, assembly and dismantling of the old, ageing bus stops.

The new bus stops are characterised by their high-quality workmanship and innovative features. Each stop was powder-coated, which is not only aesthetically pleasing but also offers optimum protection against vandalism. The bus stops are also fitted with robust safety glass for added security.

Customised add-on parts, such as waste bins and benches, were designed and integrated according to the customer’s individual wishes. The flexible design also enables the subsequent integration of multimedia displays or digital timetable information to provide passengers with even better information and orientation.

“Our bus stops are not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. We have placed particular emphasis on safety, durability and customer requirements in order to improve the public transport network in Porta Westfalica,” explains Heiko Spiering, Managing Director of HEIKO Metallbau.

In addition to bus stops, HEIKO Metallbau also specialises in the construction and assembly of platforms for train services, waiting area canopies and ramps for public transport. The company continues to focus on innovative solutions to sustainably improve mobility in cities and contribute to the development of modern and safe transport infrastructures.

HEIKO Metallbau stands for quality, reliability and customer-orientated solutions in metal construction.
