Stadthagen Primary School is celebrating the completion of a new escape staircase, a project that was realised largely thanks to the expertise and craftsmanship of HEIKO Metallbau. With this installation, the metalworker from Bückeburg has not only significantly increased the safety of pupils and teachers, but also created a new, functional exit.
The centrepiece of this project was the conversion of an existing stairwell window into an exit. This innovative solution demonstrates HEIKO Metallbau’s commitment to making the best use of available space and offering customised solutions. The escape staircase itself is an example of durability and ease of maintenance, as the landing was hot-dip galvanised to resist corrosion and ensure lasting stability.
The choice of materials also deserves special attention. The stainless steel handrails not only emphasise the aesthetics of the structure, but also offer a robust, weather-resistant and low-maintenance option. These materials ensure that the staircase remains both functional and visually appealing for years to come.
The school management, teachers and pupils at Stadthagen primary school are delighted with the new escape staircase.
HEIKO Metallbau, proud of the successful realisation of this project, reaffirms its commitment to high-quality metal construction work and customer satisfaction. “It is always a pleasure to realise projects that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing and, above all, contribute to the safety of the community,” says Managing Director Heiko Spiering.
With the completion of the escape staircase at Stadthagen primary school, HEIKO Metallbau is continuing on its path of offering high-quality, customised solutions in the field of metal construction and thus making an important contribution to safety and well-being in public spaces.
